Hon. Colonial Secretary,

E. B. C. Joseph Taylor, No. 98 was admit-

ted to Government Civil Hospital on 12th. May, 1902, at 2.30 A.M.

suffering from injuries as follows:-

1.

Wound of skin over left elbow with earth grit.

2.

Wound of skin over nose.

3.

Incised wounds over skin of right wrist.

4.

5.

Small skin wound over left knee cap (patella).

Severe strain of musoles of the back.

These injuries were said to have been

inflicted by an accident whilst attending a fire.

In my opinion the injury to the back was

likely to incapacitate him for some time from earning his living,

He was discharged on 19th. June, 1902, as

fit for duty but he was still complaining of his back.

15th. June, 1903.
